Fitness Plus was founded in Coolum Beach in the year 2000. Since then Coolum has seen some considerable growth, both economically and also in the tourism industry.
Such growth has created many exciting opportunities for everyone, and every type of business to establish strong new foundations and the promise of future growth.
In 2003, Dianna and I were fortunate to purchase the local health club, Fitness Plus Coolum. For us, this was the realisation of a dream. We both enjoyed a passionate relationship with the fitness industry for the past twenty years.
The advances in science and human movement technology have grown exponentially over the past decade. These changes have now seen the advent of many different types of fitness industry providers. We are all now on the beginning of an exciting new wave of cultural change towards new level of health, fitness and longevity. Welcome to the welness industry...
Our goal is to provide the Sunshine Coast with a health club and fitness facility that provides a profound level of knowledge, service, support and care that has not been typical of the industry in the past years. We aim to achieve this by employing people that are at the cutting edge of qualifications and skill, and establishing strong business relationships with local industry related professionals.
Our strong commitment to integrity and professionalism have already created many exciting changes within the club. All of our trainers are either Fitness Specialists or registered fitness leaders with Fitness Queensland. All are furthering there studies as a result of their extraodinarily high level of passion and commitment to the industry and themselves.
